We are actively looking for an experienced Chef with expertise in Mediterranean Cuisine most notably Shawarma and Manakeesh that can demonstrate adequate knowledge and understanding of a very busy restaurant kitchen. It’s the right job for people with passion for leading a passionate kitchen team and exploring different cooking techniques and progressive menus.

Position

• Permanent Full-time

Job Responsibilities

• Follow recipes and presentation specifications;
• Cooking & plating various dishes, with consistent quality and speed;
• Restocking and maintaining a high level of cleanliness throughout the kitchen;
• Use the kitchen equipment while maintaining safety and sanitation standards;

Job Requirements

• Prior experience cooking Shawarma and Manakeesh among other Mediterranean Cuisine
• Punctual and professional;
• Passionate about food;
• Clean and organized;
• A fast learned, with attention to detail;
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, while keeping a positive attitude;

Experience

• 1 -2 years experience
• Prior Mediterranean Restaurant experience would be preferable

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Flexible Shifts
• Monday to Friday
• Must be able to work on weekends

License/Certification:

• Food Safe, SafeCheck, Food Handler Certificate or equivalent
