We are actively looking for an experienced cashier who can demonstrate adequate knowledge and understanding of a very busy restaurant.

Position 

• Permanent Full-time / Temp to Perm

Job Responsibilities  

• Takes care of all transactions with the use of the cash register
• Ensures that the prices of the meals are correctly inputted
• Collects payments, whether cash, credit card, or debit card
• Issues change or receipts
• Becomes a customer service representative of the business
• Courteously greets customers upon arrival and leaving the premises
• Maintains accurate and correct transaction amounts at the end of the shift
• Records transactions daily so they can be easily tracked down in case of discrepancies

Job Requirements 

• Punctual and professional
• Passionate about food
• Clean and organized
• A fast learner, with attention to details
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, while keeping a positive attitude
• Prior experience as a Restaurant Cashier or in a similar role in sales
• Familiarities with electronic equipment, like a cash register and POS
• Good math skills
• Strong communication and time management skills
• Customer satisfaction-oriented
• Flexible in helping out with other tasks as an when needed on the job

Experience

• 1 -2 years experience
• Prior Restaurant experience would be preferable

Schedule: 

• 5 – 8 hour shifts
• Day/Afternoon shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends
