Job Description

Our client is a leader in the manufacture of plastic containers, serving ware, tableware, drinkware and cutlery for the food service, food processor, bakery, grocery, catering, take-out, retail, and hospitality markets.

We are currently searching for a dynamic General Labour Packager to join our team located at our Brampton (Bramalea & Steeles)warehouse.

Temporary and Long-term permanent full-time positions available:

• Continental Rotating Shift
• 12 Hour Shifts
• Day Shift: 8am to 8pm
• Night Shift: 8pm to 8am
• Every other weekends

Various tasks will include:

• Accurately label, package bags, and boxes in a timely manner
• Manually weigh and fill product into cartons and various types of containers
• Other duties as required

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED
• Ability to stand while working
• Ability to understand and follow directions
• Ability to consistently meet minimum production standards and company service levels
• Ability to read, speak, and comprehend the English language

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds when required
• Ability to wear all provided hygiene equipment – hairnet, lab coat, and removal of all jewelry
• Standing for extended periods of time
• Manual dexterity, reaching, and grasping
